The 2010 NACE Conference: The Final Frontier
I suppose the title is a bit melodramatic, but Interfolio is excited to be attending this week's National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) Annual Conference in Orlando, FL. I'll be making the trip down to Orlando with my colleagues Elwin Leslie and Frank Fessenden, and we're looking forward to a productive and energizing couple of days in the Sunshine State.
NACE always provides us with the chance to meet with new friends at career center offices across the country and catch up with our current partners. Every year, regardless of location, the conference allows us to engage career center employees on a personal, face-to-face level. These interactions, along with the conference sessions, really do invigorate us as we enter the summer and prepare for the upcoming academic year.
For old and new friends alike, Interfolio will be having a drawing for an Apple iPad at booth 405. And, for the second year in a row, we'll be right next door to our partner, Educational Testing Service (ETS). In addition to talking about our Dossier and Portfolio services for job applicants in higher education, medical school applicants, and prospective K-12 teachers, we'll also be talking about our joint service for graduate school applicants, My Credentials Vault. Of course, ETS will also be fielding questions regarding all of their other services as well.

The three of us will be bringing along a couple flip cams and tracking down some of our university partners for some quick interviews at the conference. If all goes according to plan, we'll be posting some content throughout the week here on the blog, so come back and check for updates!
As for myself, getting to Orlando might be the hardest part of the whole week. It involved flying back from a wedding in Denver, and avoiding poor weather to land at BWI for my sister's high school graduation ceremony on Tuesday night. This morning, I caught a 6:15 AM flight from Baltimore to Orlando, and then took a cab directly to the conference. We'll see how much karma I have in reserve.
Congrats, you made it all the way to the end! Don't forget to subscribe to our blog via rss, or find us on Facebook, here.
