On February 4th, 2011, Interfolio reached a big milestone. We shipped our four millionth document. This target could not have been reached without the support and enthusiasm of our entire user community, which now consists of over 146,000 individuals from over 1,400 colleges and universities worldwide. 

In short, we’d like to thank all of you.

The person who pushed us over the four million mark was Julie VanDusky-Allen. An Interfolio user since 2009, Julie helped us reach our milestone by shipping the four millionth document from her account. In recognition of securing her place in Interfolio history, we’ve awarded her a $500 prize.

“The real value of Interfolio for me comes from having a secure, online location to upload all of my letters of recommendation.” Julie said. “If you are a grad student in the job market, you're most likely applying to 50 plus places. Your committee members have a lot going on and asking them to send a copy of their letter to multiple places is a huge burden. Interfolio saves a lot of time and solves a huge coordination problem. I don't know what I do without Interfolio".

Once again, thank you, Julie, and cheers to everyone else who has shipped a document, written a recommendation letter, chaired a search committee or managed a graduate admissions process using Interfolio.
