Help CenterInterfolio members initiate letter requests by designating the letter as confidential or non-confidential, and by providing key information about the writer, such as his name, title and email address. When the request is complete, a placeholder is created in the member's Interfolio account. The Interfolio member's placeholder has a document ID that is associated with the request. The member provides the writer with the Interfolio request form either by email or as a hard copy. The request form includes a document ID. The request form instructs the writer on how to submit the letter electronically or by mail using the unique Interfolio document ID. When the writer submits the letter, the Interfolio system is able to successfully match the letter to the member's placeholder in his/her account. As soon as the letter is successfully received and processed, the member will receive an email alerting them of the availability of the document. The Interfolio member is then able to use the letter in a delivery. |
