Help CenterFirst, create a digital picture of your signature (in GIF or JPEG format). Your institution may be able to help you with this, or you can use Interfolio's mouse2sig or fax2sig technology in the "Signature" section of your accounts “Home” page. Once you have created an electronic version of your signature, save it to your desktop. Before uploading the letter, please first insert the image of your signature to your letter. To place your signature in the letter, insert it as a "picture" or "image" into the document using your word processing software to browse for the saved file. Interfolio can show you how to do this: from the Signature section, click on the “Using Your Signature" link. The system will detect the type of computer and browser you are using, and provide you with customized instructions on how to insert your signature. You can also consult the help section of the word processing software you are using. If you don't have a digital picture of your signature, Interfolio has two tools available to help you create one. 1. Fax it to us (Fax2sig) The Fax2Sig service converts a faxed copy of your signature into a digital image and places that image into the Signature section of your Interfolio account. From the Signature section in your Interfolio account, click on the Fax option. On the next page click on the Fax2sig form, print, sign the form, and fax it back to Interfolio. The unique ID on the Fax2sig form will securely match and save the signature to your Interfolio account. Once your signature is available in your account, please save it to your desktop and insert it into your documents using the instructions above. 2. Create Online Signature (Mous2sig) The quickest way to create your signature is through our Mouse2Sig service. All you have to do is navigate to the Signature section, click on “Signature Setup” and then click on the “Create Online” option to use your mouse. You will see a blank box in which you can sign your name using your computer mouse as a pen. Once you sign your name click to preview and then click to “Save this Signature.” |
