Letter Writers > Prepare Your Letter > How do I obtain electronic letterhead? How do I use it?

Electronic letterhead is often available through your IT (or similar) department at the your institution. Either institutional letterhead or departmental letterhead is generally acceptable.

Electronic letterhead usually comes in the form of a word processing template. You would enter the content of your letter directly, or copy and paste it into the template.

Please contact the appropriate department at your institution for more information.
