Why might this happen?

  • The Fileholder provided you with a printed Interfolio Request Form instead of an email request. Only emailed requests appear in your Pending Request list.
  • The email address used by the Fileholder to send you your emailed request does not match the email address associated with your Interfolio account. For security purposes, we require Writer email addresses EXACTLY MATCH that provided by the Fileholder.

What should I do now?

 

  1. If you have a printed Request Form in your possession, locate the unique document ID located on the form. Use that ID to upload your letter.
  2. If you do not have a printed Request Form, check to see which email address your Fileholder used to send your letter writing request. If it is a different email address than the one associated with your account, please email help@interfolio.com and we will connect your two email addresses so this problem will not happen again.
  3. If you do not have a printed Request Form and you do not have time to contact Interfolio to have your two (or more) email addresses connected, simply create a duplicate Interoflio Writer account using the second email address. As soon as you complete your registration, you will see the pending request and you will be able to upload your letter immediately. At your convenience, please contact Interfolio at help@interfolio.com and we will connect your email addresses.
