Letter Writers > Introduction to Interfolio for Writers > Combining A Writer Account with a Fileholder Account
Many of the letter writers who submit letters to Interfolio also have a need to manage a portfolio of their own.  Interfolio allows people in that situation to maintain a single account in which they can upload and manage the letters they writer for others and collect, manage and send their own documents. To add Fileholder capabilities to your letter writer account, click on the My Documents or My Deliveries tab to view information about the Fileholder account.  Click on the Upgrade My Account link and follow the prompts to activate the new functionality.   When a Writer upgrades to a combined Writer and Fileholder account, the user pays the fees associated with a Fileholder account.  A Fileholder account costs $19/year to activate.  Fileholders also pay for delivery fees.
