FileHolders > Building Your Portfolio: Adding Documents > Transfering an Existing Credential File to Interfolio

You can transfer your existing file to Interfolio to enjoy the great service and benefits we provide.

  1. First, download the File Transfer Form
  2. Then create an Interfolio fileholder account
  3. Fill out the form using the information from your account and submit it to your career center.
  4. Your career center will mail us your documents.
  5. Once we have received your documents, it will take us 1-3 business days to place your documents into your account.

NOTE: If your file was automatically transferred to us by your college or university - do not set up an account. One will be created for you. Once we have received your documents and your file is available, you will receive an email with your account information. Please contact us if you need additional assistance.
