Letter writers can: access the service at no charge, using any word processing software to write a letter, then uploading it securely from a computer mail hard copy documents instead of uploading them, if desired provide letters in a single format, without needing to manage multiple institutions' system or format requirements be assured that confidential letters of recommendation remain confidential and cannot be read by the applicant review the status of all letter of recommendation requests write one letter for each applicant that can easily be sent to multiple institutions create multiple versions of letters, when desired, to customize recommendations for specific institutions keep track of all the letters they write at a centralized location
