Archival Experience
from Edward Gitre's portfolio
My most memorable archival experience has to be holding a da Vinci print in the British Museum, although being escorted through the high-security inner chambers of London's National Gallery was pretty special too. Research projects have taken me to archives across North America and into countries abroad and include world-class national institutions like the British Library, as well as the truly unique, like the Marx Memorial Library in London and the American Society for Psychical Research in New York City.
Here is a partial list of recent exploits, based on my current research project.
