Over the Summer of 2007, I studied abroad in Ghana through a program at UC Davis. We learned about culture and development in an African nation.

The Queen mother and I

We took a trip to a small town in the hills of the Volta region and spent time with the people there. This picture is of me and the Queen Mother of the village.

Drumming and Dancing

We studied drumming and dancing for one month before performing in front of a village of about 200 people.

The Children

The Children of course, loved our performance.
