Photography
from Steve Goldenberg's portfolio
I have a recurring daydream that drives me crazy: I look around when I’m in a public place and realize that I’m in a room full of strangers, all of whom have lived full lives, and by some coincidence we all have ended up in the same place at the same time. It drives me crazy knowing that I’ll never know any of their stories. Being a photographer is a way for me to get a unique glimpse of others’ lives and it helps feed my insatiable curiosity to know about the world.
Street Photography
The style of photography that most interests me is street photography. Loosely defined, it is taking photographs of people, in public. Most time, I don't ask permission and it frequently surprises me how much strangers actually enjoy having their photograph taken. There must be a deep love of the paparazzi in all of us.
Color Street Photography
A selection of my best street work. This genre has traditionally been dominated by black-and-white images. I prefer to use color because of the way vibrant colors help describe the people I photograph. Visit Website
