Interfolio, Inc. pioneered the concept of delivering secured and trusted confidential letters of recommendation for people applying to graduate school. It now provides credential management and delivery services for educational program applicants, job seekers, colleges and universities, and centralized application services. With the launch of its innovative portfolio product in 2009, Interfolio now offers a rich, multimedia enabled web presence for professionals and academics who wish to showcase their life's work.

Interfolio employs interns to help in the dossier management process. Internships usually last for a school term. Interns are mostly given the following tasks:
- Handling and processing incoming mail
- Quality control on incoming documents
- Scanning documents into our system
- Assisting with outgoing mail for our clients
After an evaluation at the end of the term, some interns are offered an extension of another term. They are given more meaningful projects under the departments that they are most interested in, like marketing. Also, their tasks are expanded to cover higher levels of quality control and document management.
The internship is a great way to start out at Interfolio. A lot of the team members started out as interns, including myself.
