Massachusetts research university announces partnership with Faculty Information System Interfolio to power faculty advancement and recognize the total contributions of the faculty workforce
WORCESTER, MASS. — January 29, 2020 — Clark University, a private Massachusetts research university, announced today the launch of a new platform to more holistically recognize the teaching, research, and service of its faculty. Through a partnership with Faculty Information System Interfolio, Clark faculty can now seamlessly report and share their accomplishments during the annual review process, providing administrators with a comprehensive understanding of their faculty members’ expertise and career achievements.

With the Interfolio platform, Clark University faculty can now use an intuitive interface—specifically designed for them—to curate their research accomplishments and other scholarly activity, which they can share as part of the review process and use to gather information for grant proposals. Administrators can use the platform to view each faculty member’s teaching courseload and research, publishing, and service activities, providing a new level of insight into faculty members’ unique contributions to the university’s mission.
By providing an efficient process for reporting research activity, Clark University will use the platform to discover areas of faculty expertise, creating opportunities to elevate faculty members’ public profiles through public speaking and media interviews. Additionally, faculty can more easily recognize potential collaborators for grant proposals and other projects based on shared research interests.
