Jack has dedicated his entire professional life to the education industry, helping to make institutions and the constituents within them, students, parents, faculty, and administration, as successful as possible. After graduating from George Mason University, Jack started his career at Blackboard in sales within their Higher Education and K12 division. He spent over 8 years with Blackboard, helping them grow their North American market presence for the company’s Learn Solution offerings. While at Blackboard, Jack quickly displayed his desire to teach, motivate, and lead sales teams, finding gratification in others’ success. Under Jack’s leadership, Blackboard grew to becoming one of the most widely adopted learning management system across North America. As a result of his passion for building small companies into large ones, Jack eventually transitioned from Blackboard to Intelliworks, an early-stage education company focused on application and support management solutions for admissions offices. At Intelliworks, Jack lead all Global Sales and relationship-building efforts across the entire client lifecycle. Within his 6 year tenure, he and his team grew Intelliworks 6 times over in revenues, ultimately positioning the organization to be successfully acquired by another education company, Hobsons. While at Hobsons, Jack held a number of executive positions, most importantly serving as the SVP of the Student Advising business and leading all new sales and client success efforts across the entire K through 20 student lifecycle.
