To submit a letter to TMDSAS, upload directly to TMDSAS, Interfolio or regular mail.
Letters may be submitted electronically through the AACOMAS application or directly to the schools using alternative services indicated by each school in the college information section of this book. Alternative services may include, but are not limited to: Interfolio, VirtualEvals and U.S. mail
To disable your Interfolio account, you will need to email firstname.lastname@example.org from the primary email address that is listed. Interfolio Scholar Services will reply to your email to confirm when disabled.
Requesting and sending letters of recommendation is a stressful but necessary part of applying to many scholarly positions and other opportunities. Let Team Interfolio help you manage this portion of your to-do list, confidently. You can sign up for a free Dossier account and both collect and store letters by requesting them from peers, mentors, etc. As a Dossier user requesting a letter of recommendation you can: Save my letter writers’ contact information Attach multiple support files to my letter request via my Dossier account Share my multimedia materials like video links and URLs within my request Request multiple letters of recommendation at once Auto-populate each letter writer’s name in bulk requests for professional appearance As a letter writer, when accessing supporting materials attached to a request for a letter of recommendation, you can simply view them online within a convenient document viewer—or download them as always.
From requesting and storing confidential letters, to curating thematic collection sets of documents, Interfolio Dossier is your single, secure space for scholarly organization. Once your materials have been curated for a specific opportunity, you can share them for feedback and advice, before sending. Then use your account to send your materials in support of any opportunity, such as faculty jobs, fellowships, grants, postdocs, or graduate study, for a flat $48 annual fee.
When a letter of recommendation is requested from you, you will receive an email notifying you of the request. After receiving a request, you can upload the letter directly to Interfolio, or, if your requester has provided you with a document request form, you may choose to mail your letter to Interfolio. When a letter is requested from you, a free Dossier account is created for you. You don’t have to use your Interfolio Dossier account to upload letters of recommendation to Interfolio, but we invite you to activate your free account to help you organize, track, and store and send all of your recommendation and evaluation requests.
Interfolio cannot send letters of recommendation to CASPA.

Your Dossier never expires and we will store your documents indefinitely. Dossier provides you with one centralized account to collect and manage confidential letters of recommendation and other materials you will need for review, funding opportunities, admission to graduate school, jobs in higher education, and other academic and professional opportunities.
There are two subscription options available of Interfolio to scholars, a free version called Dossier, and a paid version called Dossier Deliver. Dossier includes: Prepare collections for jobs, mentoring, reviews, grants, and biosketches; Request and receive reusable confidential letters; Search for grants, fellowships, and jobs; Apply for free to Interfolio-hosted positions; Access Interfolio support Dossier Deliver is $48/year, allowing you to send a total of 50 electronic and/or mail deliveries. You can: Prepare collections for jobs, mentoring, reviews, grants, and biosketches; Request and receive reusable confidential letters; Search for grants, fellowships, and jobs; Apply for free to Interfolio-hosted positions; Access Interfolio support (including deliveries); Share your materials and get feedback on them in your Dossier
If you are a Dossier Deliver user, we will quality-check letters for you within 4 business days of their arrival in your account. Interfolio DOES NOT restrict you from using letters still “pending” a quality check. Letters are also checked before being submitted for delivery. Every time you request new letters Interfolio checks those letters for quality. We will provide assistance communicating errors to Letter Writers.
