International college announces partnership with Interfolio

Kuwait City, Kuwait — February 4, 2021 — Kuwait University’s College of Engineering and Petroleum today announced its adoption of new technology to manage its faculty promotions. Working with Interfolio, creator of the Faculty Information System, and its module for faculty advancement, Kuwait University will automate manual workflows, reducing the administrative burden on both faculty and staff members.

“Transitioning faculty reviews to an easy-to-use digital system increases efficiency and security,” states Maytham Safar, Head of the Promotion Committee at the College of Engineering and Petroleum at Kuwait University. “We are pleased to join global peers in adopting Interfolio.”

Changing to Interfolio’s online platform enables the college to standardize and make clear the review and promotion process across departments. Additionally, using Interfolio increases the security and confidentiality of candidates’ review materials during and after the process, eliminating the need for multiple copies, folders, and physical storage space.

“Colleges and universities are increasingly turning to digital solutions to streamline historically cumbersome processes for faculty and administrators,” states Andrew Rosen, CEO of Interfolio. “With this technology, Kuwait University is further enabling trustworthy and transparent review processes and freeing up time for the essential work of faculty—research, service, and teaching.”
