When will the conference take place? Where is it located?

The Interfolio Summit is July 8-10, 2020 in Washington, DC.

How do I get to the hotel from the airport?

BWI: There is a shuttle at BWI that will take you to the Amtrack/MARC station. You have the option of pre-purchasing an Amtrack ticket, or you can purchase a MARC ticket on-site. Both trains have a stop at Union Station. From Union Station you can Uber or take the DC Metro (located under Union Station). see union station directions

DCA: Take the Blue line towards Largo Town Center at the Metro Station located right outside of Ronald Reagan Airport. Get off at McPherson Square (8 stops). When departing metro station head north on 15th St NW and make a right onto M St NW. Hotel will be a block down on your right.

Dulles: You will have to Uber from Dulles to the hotel.

Union Station: Take the red line metro towards Shady Grove. Get off at Farragut North (4th stop). When departing metro head east on K St NW, take a left on 16th St NW, and then a right on M St NW. Hotel will be two blocks down on the right.

What is the attire?

Attire is business casual. Conference hotels can be chilly with summertime AC, so you may want to bring a light jacket/scarf for inside. Evening activities may include outdoor options, so you’ll want to pack summer clothing with comfortable shoes. And, we recommend you check www.weather.com before you arrive.

Can I advertise in the conference program?

We are not allowing program sponsorships in 2020.

Am I eligible for a special rate?

If you are a PAC member, please reach out to summit@interfolio.com for information. If you’re interested in registering for a group of 4 or more, please also email summit@interfolio.com for group pricing. All other pricing can be found in the Tickets section of our website.

Can I bring a guest?

Everyone who attends the Interfolio Summit must be registered and have a badge. Guests, spouses, and partners must pay the advertised registration rate; this will offer them access to the meals and activities. Badges for minors (under age 18) are complementary and may be obtained at the registration table. Minors’ badges do not offer access to any meals or off-site activities. Minors must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Guardians are asked to help maintain a professional, disturbance-free environment.

What if I have dietary restrictions or allergies?

We will try our best to accommodate attendees’ dietary restrictions and allergies. Please email summit@interfolio.com or indicate your restrictions on your EventBrite registrations. 

Is there funding available to help with travel/registration costs?

At this time, we are waiving registration costs if your presentation proposal is accepted. Notifications of presentation proposal status will be sent by email no later than Friday, January 17, 2019. Please note: If your proposal is selected, the admission fee for the main presenter will be waived. If you have already paid for registration, and you are the main presenter, you will be reimbursed.

What services are available for special needs and requests?

The Westin City Center provides the following accessibility information:

  • Mobility accessible rooms are available
  • Accessible guest rooms have a 32-inch wide opening
  • Route to accessible guest rooms is accessible
  • Hotel has on site accessible self-parking
  • Other Mobility accessible areas: Business center entrance, Fitness center, entrance, Meeting spaces, Pathway to registration desk, Registration desk, Restaurants and lounges

I'd like to present a session at the Summit. Is that possible?

We welcome proposals from current Interfolio clients that support the theme "A Community of Practice: Fostering Engagement & Impact in Higher Ed." We are particularly interested in hearing case studies about how institutions have accomplished strategic goals using Interfolio products. Proposals are due December 16, 2019. Submit your idea here.

Currently we are not accepting proposals from non-Interfolio clients. Additionally the Summit is not accepting external exhibitors.

What is the cancellation policy for the conference?

Interfolio reserves the right to cancel the Interfolio Summit or substitute speakers. In the unlikely event that Interfolio should have to cancel the Summit, you will be notified immediately and registration costs will be reimbursed.

Refunds will not be granted unless you are being reimbursed as a presenter or speaker, which is to be determined by the Interfolio Summit Team.
