Session: Transforming the Institution with Faculty Data

Tuesday, April 9 / 8:30 AM

This session focuses on the difficulties faced and practices used by institutional researchers to collect, use, and report faculty data.

With many AAUDE member schools as clients, Interfolio is familiar with the challenges of collecting accurate, validated faculty data in a central repository to be used for accreditation, internal reporting, faculty profile systems, expertise databases, and more. In this session, we will share successful use cases from a variety of colleagues and universities, demonstrate Interfolio’s faculty activity reporting platform, and discuss how institutions can collect validated faculty data.

This session expands upon the recent AAUDE-sponsored webinar, co-presented with the University of Arizona, which highlighted how the ability to customize Interfolio’s platform to the university’s unique data structures contributed to Arizona’s success.

Do you wish academic staff promotion, data collection/reporting, and hiring processes at your university could be more cost-effective and consistent?

At Wonkfest 2018, we’d love to meet you, learn about your institution’s particular challenges, and share how we’ve helped with these administrative necessities around academic staff at our client universities.

By handling such administrative concerns more efficiently and transparently—and freeing up academic staff members’ time so they can focus on students or research—administrative offices can build a needed bridge between academics and institutional administration, and can help the university have a greater impact overall.

Sponsored Panel: “Nothing is certain but REF and taxonomies”

Tuesday, 6 November 2018, 10:15-11:00 AM GMT

Interfolio founder, president, and chief product officer Steve Goldenberg will participate in a panel alongside:
